Jordan Waypa is the owner of FHG Wellness. At the age of 12 Jordan knew she wanted to become a nurse practitioner. Initially having an interest in pediatrics, her world quickly shifted to adults when she began her nursing career on a medical surgical floor specializing in Oncology and she fell in love with the intricacies of the adult population.  She achieved her professional dream 10 years ago by becoming a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and found herself diving into the world of urgent care. While she loved the complexities of patients she saw, she quickly realized that time spent with her patients was of utmost importance. She then began her journey at Cancer Treatment Centers of America and found the love of caring for medically complex individuals while also getting to be a support system for patients in their most vulnerable stages of life. After 9 years at CTCA working closely with naturopaths as well as leading the research team for the Phoenix division, her professional goals shifted to preventative medicine. 

She absolutely loves the world of integrative medicine because the concept of holistic practice (treating the body, mind, AND spirit) is what excited her the most in nursing school almost 2 decades ago.  Wellness optimization is truly the goal she has been seeking for over a decade. Recently, she embarked on a new endeavor, owning her own wellness practice. Here, Jordan merges her expertise and compassionate nature to promote a healthy and holistic lifestyle, aiming to prevent chronic illness and empower others on their wellness journey. With her wealth of experience and unwavering dedication, Jordan is a beacon of hope for those seeking a path towards optimal health. 

FHG means For His Glory which is how Jordan has been called to live. She has made it her mission in her nursing career to live a life that shares the light of Jesus to every person she meets. Wife and mother are two roles that Jordan considers most important. When she is not at the clinic, you can most certainly find Jordan outdoors with her husband, three boys, and dog OR baking in her kitchen.
